Redcoats and Kryptonite

A little flashback to Saturday night. I marched in the 90s, so I never knew this feeling, unfortunately, so a tip of the cap to the kids for being able to find the breath to play.

My hope is that we go up against State Penn and Jane Franklynn, and that the Redcoats do this to him.

When the band you’re in starts playing different tunes, I’ll see you on the dark side of the lose.

  1. I love seeing how much our kids love UGA. In other news, James Franklin is still a dick.

    • I hate the fact that I agree with Franklin. It was a JV set up. Sort of like the award ceremony at the SECCG.

  2. I remember bawling, I mean manly crying, when I saw the video of the band playing after the Rose Bowl win in 2017. I don’t know how those kids can even keep it together. EVERYBODY doin their job at UGA.

  3. My son is a Redcoat. He got to travel to Bama and I was fortunate enough to sit in front of him and was heartbroken for him that we lost that game. Went to the SEC and joined him after the game and it was all the feels for him that he got to experience the joy. Watching that video of Angel Tag… I mean c’mon… I’m crying as I type this.

  4. I don’t get to Sanford much, so when I go, we always stay until the band quits playing and they make us leave. Whenever we encounter rwdcoats on our route back to the car, we always make sure to tell them they did a great job.

  5. The Redcoats playing “Ode to Joy” after a win is truly the sound of victory – like the smell of napalm in the morning or the first post game taste of sweet brown liquor.

Love the Redcoats and miss them playing at the Jax Bulldog Club pep rally the past two years.
