Please excuse our dust!

The extremely near future!

Good morning, y’all!

I was traveling on business in Orlando yesterday when I read JP’s post about hanging up his cleats due to his personal situation. It was heartwarming to see all of your responses and comments of support for him as he goes through this tough time. JP’s efforts and contributions have been a huge part of keeping this little slice of the Dawgnation internets going since the good Senator’s passing.

As you might expect, the remaining “Powers That Be” are making some halftime adjustments* this off-week as we prepare for Hate Week and the second half of the regular season.

If you’ve ever been to Disney World and seen the sign above outside of your family’s favorite ride, it can be disappointing. Of course, we are not talking about a several month closure; this is more akin to being in the parks and seeing a temporary shutdown of a ride because someone drank the water on “It’s A Small World”.

Thank you for your patience, this ride will be resuming shortly!

Your humble power that be commish,

Dawglicious

*Kirby and Co. are pretty good making adjustments…we’ll take that as inspiration!

  1. Thank you all for doing this. I’m 65 and terminally low tech so I’m too old and dumb to start looking for a new place for Dawg info and opinions. Y’all are my favorite family members.

    • I’m glad someone else is like me about technology. Just getting to the right channel on our smart TV is counted as a major victory for me.

  2. The last time I saw that sign it was in front of my favorite ride, 20000 leagues under the see with a lady at the entrance. She said work would be completed soon to check back. They removed the ride and built Ariel’s grotto. If I wanted to see Ariel’s grotto I’d go to a strip club. I’m still pissed 20000 leagues is gone.

  3. Appreciate all you guys do. This is my only source for Dawg info. I too am beyond the age to navigate the web, so keep it rolling. Thanks and as always Go Dawgs!!

  4. Thank you to everyone involved in keeping this site going. No worries about the delay since you probably noticed by now we’re kinda hard to get rid of.

  5. Thanks for all your work keeping this great blog going! I’m sure the late, great Senator is honored with all the effort by all involved. This site is my first go-to of the morning for great Dawg insight and commentary! Keep up the great job! (A little dust never hurt anyone! 😀)

  6. We appreciate everyone’s interest in keeping things going and your interest in reading what we come up with. As the Senator once wrote, it’s a labor of love for those of us who do this.

  7. This is the only blog I read, much less the only dawg blog. So, I am here and along for the ride wherever it takes us. All of y’alls efforts are appreciated more than y’all will ever know. Yeah there are probably healthier alternatives out there that I and others should and do probably look to to find comfort in certain situations, however, when going through tough times, you don’t know how comforting it is to come here to be distracted for a few minutes and feel like I’m together with a group of Dawg people that feel like family. Even though I’ve never met anyone here in person (to my knowledge). It really means a lot. I hope it continues for many years to come.
