I’m looking forward to a season where we don’t spend the entirety of bandwidth talking about dropped passes, but I have to admit I saw this on Twix and thought it was telling about team leadership.
This was on Bell’s drop. If you look to the far right of the screen, you see Frazier drop to his knees when he realizes Bell drops it. He then promptly hops up and runs what looks like a 4.4 40 to pick Bell up off the turf.
We need more of those guys in Athens moving forward. Nice to see there’s someone on offense who will be the leadership of the future Dawgs offenses.
I love it. Also, if he could have figured out how not to put the ball on the ground, I don’t think there would have been any question he would have been RB1 down the stretch. If he figures that out, he is going to be the next great RBU back.
Yeah I figured that was why Etienne was getting all the (ineffective) carries in the Sugar Bowl because we were worried about Frazier’s ball security. How ironic that Trevor’s fumble was the one that bit us.
More Frazier, please. The kid is a dynamo.
Just hard to believe the SEC Champion and playoff team also led in dropped passes. That’s not coincidence, it’s technique and that’s on the coaching staff. Yips aren’t contagious but poor fundamentals affect everyone.
Never understood why Frazier didn’t get more carries.
The young man has a huge, competitive heart.
CKS demands ball security and pass protection…that is all!!
Given the schedule, perhaps weakest receiving corps in decades, poor OLine play, loss of tackling fundamentals and finally no #1 RB at RBU. Winning the SEC championship could be viewed as overachieving for this bunch.
I’m spoiled and would love NC’s. This team was not a serious contender. It took luck to make the SECCG. Bobo is not Monken I agree however he’s not the most glaring problem Kirby needs to address right now.
I’m looking forward to-
No more drops by 11,
No more long outside runs that 32 did not contain,
Wondering why 24 isn’t playing like 2022/2023,
3 getting the ball more,
and praying for Bobo, Searles and Coley to go coach in Gainesville.
I liked what Radi Nabulsi said about Frazier, “If Nate Frazier is alive he needs to be in the game.” I’m over the Bobo stuff at this point. I’m ready for him to be gone just so I don’t have to listen to people bitch about him anymore.
