Irish Goodbye

I can just imagine that whatever was said in this meeting was likely short, and there was likely no love lost between coach and players.

To make matters weirder, Nussmeier didn’t even come and showed up late.

Looks like whatever greeting the QB received almost appeared to be a “we’re good bro” kind of hello. I’d imagine that Kelly isn’t welcome in Louisiana anymore. His legacy is one of disappointment and cringe:

I think he’d be perfect for Penn State, no?

  1. Penn State is going to conduct an extensive search and end up with a guy named Frank Jameslin, who will definitely not be James Franklin with a wig.

It’d be kind of funny if all these coaches ended up just swapping locations. Like Kelly to Penn St, Lane to UF, Franklin to Ole Miss, and so on. There have got to be a few coordinators capable of landing some of these jobs though.

  2. How many of the fired coaches are Jimmy Sexton’s clients? If Lane get the Fl or LSU job, Kirby will need to re negotiate to be the highest paid HC.

    • Wonder what Jimmy’s rip on the buyout is? Offering a discount on the “regular” commission seems like the right thing to do, but he probably charges a premium and his clients are happy to pay it to him!

  3. Only thing that would have been better was BK walking out with a copier paper box with his personal effects, and the security guard having to search it before he let him out the door.

  4. This guy was fake as fuck from the second he got there.

My favorite was when he spoke at some event and had the most ridiculous fake Cajun accent on a few words. LOL. Get real.

Authenticity is one of the most important traits of leadership. He lacks it.

He’s off to fail somewhere else.
