In case you missed it, the kickoff has been set for the Ole Miss game.

I’m not sure if our friends and Oxford will be happy about a midday kickoff. Oh, wait, I think they’re not happy at all.

I can’t argue much with him. Alabama has a huge game against Georgia? Let’s give it to them at night! Hey, Texas has a big game against Georgia? Let’s let them have it at night…and so on. It’s a strange world when I find myself agreeing with Lane, but his gripe has relevance in my mind.

    • I don’t miss Gary, but I miss everything else about the CBS production. I hope we don’t get Joe Testetore on a broadcast….but we will. Guy is a pro, but screams wayyyy to much and over the smallest things. “He’s JUKED to the outside, MISSES A TACKLE, and GAINS TWO YARDS!!!!” C’mon Joe. Dial it back.

      • We apparently are getting Herbie and Fowler along with Holly Rowe for the WLOCP. I’ll find a way to pour alcohol into my ears until my cochlea is flooded.

  4. speaking of cbs, have yall seen the numbers, they are getting killed in the number of eyeballs, shocked not shocked when you hitch your wagon to Illinois v Maryland or Rutgers v Minnesota game options.
    abc(winning!) meanwhile is smoking very fat see-gars, which means they will continue to pump out shitty produced games with awful announcing, terrible camera angles, and bump the 3:30pm start times to 3:57pm or whatever. greedy bastards.

  7. Funny. My first thought was, finally, we do not have to play a road conference game at night against a ranked SEC opponent. We have done it 3 times so far this season. Ole Miss, with their cushy schedule, has done it once. He can EAD.

  8. My thought is, looking at Carson’s sleeve tat can we start calling him Tiger King? He may never financially recover from this season…(though I pray he does).

    Death Valley is truly a home field advantage, more so at night. Must be an old SEC contract or voodoo spell that gives them such a deal.

    • Lane whines like Steve but he does it before the game. Spurrier was a smartass after they won.
