Good morning…we are Tyler Catalina days away from kickoff!

Btw, he didn’t have a long career with UGA or even in the pros, but he’s now a long driver competitor…here’s a little lesson from a video he was in about long driving form, still repping the G:
Diamond Dawgs added a serious arm to their roster:
Which gives them 5 of the currently rated top 100 transfers out there. Definitely making a strong case to be a pre-season top 10 team.
And here’s Scott Woerner with a 72 yard punt return against Tech:
That was 1978 and Georgia won 29-28. Nice archived story from the NYT can be found here.
Go Dawgs!
Might want to check the links for a couple of those videos, jp…
…aaand now they’re correct.
uh oh…which one isn’t working? I checked back on my end and they seem fine?
The one that was supposed to be about the long driver was the video of a pastor from a different thread, and the one that was supposed to be Scott Woerner‘s touchdown against Tech was the Brock Bowers touchdown against Florida. But they are OK now.
That was odd.
“Woerner, Woerner, Woerner!”
That Munson quote is from Clemson 1980, but yes, Scott seemed to be everywhere during his time as a Dawg.
I was there and was still standing and cheering when Tech returned the ensuing kickoff for a TD. Talk about your buzzkill.
I hope these are some pitchers who have room to grow. We need quality arms in a big way.
Great huddle.
Gosh, I loved #19 as a kid & have enjoyed keeping up with him. Woerner has a such a likable aura about him & is just a great American.
Ole yankee Tyler could eat that English chap for a midnight snack!
“Tyler could eat that English chap for a midnight snack!” Reminds me of the famous quote made by UGA alum Alexander Stephens to another politician, who reportedly said that Stephens was so small, that he could swallow him and not know he ate a thing. Stephens replied that “in that case, you would have more brains in your stomach than in your head”.
Great quote. Will tell that to my short friends.
Stephens was a curious looking little fella. Ironic that he was against secession & then became VP of the CSA!
That entire Tech game is on YouTube. I watched it again last year and it is still one of the most exciting games I’ve ever seen. Birth of the Buck Belue legend. “Gimme the ball now!”
Thank you for not posting a Daniel Inman picture for this day
