Evidently, Kirby and Nike’s Phil Knight vacation together, frequently. This motto comes from Knight’s leadership philosophy that he wrote in a manifesto in 1980. The full principle states: Assume nothing. Make sure people keep their promises. Push yourselves, push others. ‘Stretch the possible’. Sounds applicable to a football team. Next season, Kirby’s motto should be FTMF in honor of Ranger Russ, someone here make that happen, okay?

Sad. Just sad. U.S. District Judge Tilman Self imposed a maximum sentence on Monday in Athens on Ahkil Nasir Crumpton convicted of federal charges in the 2021 attempted robbery and shooting death of RaceTrac clerk Elijah Wood in Oconee County.
