Good Call, for Once

One of the worst to ever don the blue has made the decision to hang it up.

While not football related at all here, Hernandez was the walking embodiment of “Tyler Simmons was onsides” to the second power. How someone so objectively bad at their job and acting with clear bias on occasion could have made it this long is shocking, but the sports world will be a better place without him, to say the least. Only one thing left to say:

  1. Always will believe Hernandez had pictures of MLB executives with goats. Worst fukn umpire ever and they never got rid of him? 🤔 Something fishy there and it wasn’t a mullet.

  2. Bill Hohn was another of that ilk. Had a hard on for Chipper Jones and Bobby Cox. The king of them all was Penn Wagers. I still want to punch that guy in the throat.

  3. Angel was truly incompetent, therefore, he will probably go on to serve in Congress.

  4. He and Eric Gregg should be in a special place in the sports officiating hall of shame. Penn Wagers and Al Ford (and the guy who called Tyler Simmons offsides) can join them.

  5. He makes some truly terrible calls but his gargantuan ego is his biggest problem.

  6. I don’t watch baseball, couldn’t name someone for certain that is currently with the Braves.

Yet, I know who this guy is. Tells me all I need to know about his career.

    • not a baseball guy either, but when eethomas put him in the same sentence as Fukin Penn Wagers, that’s all I needed to hate him .

    • And Take Laz Diaz with him. Diaz, Bucknor, Hernandez, and Joe West were 4 of the worst I have ever seen in my >60 years of watching baseball.
