Saw this in the UGA Alumni feed yesterday:

As a young boy who grew up in Athens during the summers, I can only thing of one incredibly fond memory:

The raspberry yogurt was sublime. If you’ve never visited the Creamery, I highly recommend it. It’s down the street from Aderhold Hall and near the Pharmacy building. Chef’s kiss.

Perfect summer memory.
And the cheese! Remember the “E” shop, the only place to get a computer fixed??
Being a North Campus guy, I have never been to the creamery. I feel I missed something about my UGA experience.
When I saw that on social media, I immediately thought of the old arcade and pool room in the Tate Center.
on January 28, 1986I was going to shoot hoops at Stegman and I walked into the TV room just as the Challenger exploded.
Glad to hear the Creamery is still operating. I thought I’d heard it closed. The ice cream was wonderful.
The Monday after spring break observing at the corner of Baldwin and Sanford.
It was nice just having to cross the street from the Pharmacy School to enjoy the creamery. We were there last summer for my daughter to tour UGA, and much to my dismay, it was closed. I guess all good things come to an end sooner or later.
Cooper’s Icy Fishbowls
I bought my 66 Chevy truck from a guy in Winterville in 85. I used to run into his son in Coopers and he never forgave his old man for selling me the truck! I still have it but it’s painted flat black with a red stripe on the molding !
25 cent ice cream scoops in the summer at the pharmacy in Five Points.
Hodgson’s!
Working at College of Pharmacy as a student worker I visited the creamery many of times. They also had a turkey sandwich that came in a plastic container, so very non-assuming sandwich, but it included honey and dijon mustard that took it over the top. The thought of those sandwiches still makes my mouth water thinking of them.
