Former Dawg Joins Former Dawg

Branson has a new home, but with a familiar face.

The injury bug was unkind to Branson, but I’m glad he’s connecting with McGee at Georgia State. I hope he has a solid year, especially for State’s home opener:

Go ‘Dawgs…and go former Dawgs, at least in this case.

  1. Hope he can just have a healthy year, & career going forward. Good luck, Branson!

  2. From number one RB in the country to GA St in three years. Not a knock on GSU but that’s a little different than the playoffs. Hope he can stay healthy & mentally strong. That’s got to be tough to deal with as I can imagine this was not how he pictured his career direction.

  3. As someone who holds a diploma from GSU, I hope he has a great year. GSU wasn’t on my radar leaving high school as well but life happens. I am sad that he didn’t stay healthy and wasn’t in the draft this year or discussing the decision.

  4. Coach Dell McGee is changing the culture at Georgia State. In his first year, he had the No. 1 recruiting class in the Sunbelt Conference. His quarterbacks are transfers from Penn State and Texas Tech. Adding Branson Robinson is in keeping with a huge building project taking place in the ATL and Center Parc Stadium (formerly Turner Field and Olympic Stadium). GO PANTHERS
