The Georgia booth radio call on the 3 run homer in the 8th by OShaughnessy (Jackson and Ishikawa scored) right after the very questionable out on review was the best radio call I’ve heard in a long time. It actually reminded me of Larry Munson. You felt it like you were in the stadium. I’d love to be able to hear it again if anyone knows how to get that broadcast.
The ESPN broadcast audio on the first clip above was pretty lame in comparison, but what’s new there…
Sort of answering my own question, but it looks like they will post the audio on the Georgia app. Once the broadcast is up, I’ll find the timestamp for the call and post that. It’s worth a listen.

Man you were not lying, what a great call. Munsonesque in that he was lamenting the bad call right before the homer. Went from the world is against us to on top of the world in a split second.
Totally agree on the great call of a great moment. The UGA announcers are the only way to listen to the games, so much better than anything espn offers.

You could not write a movie script that would do this justice. Should we send the NCAA a thank you for suspending Phelps? Maybe he would have done the same thing, but we will never know.
Phelps likely would not have done this. Two crucial homers and doing it when you’re considered the “substitute” brings a certain level of “I’ll show your ass something” that Phelps wouldn’t have had with a free pass from the NCAA.
