Georgia’s started the SEC slate against three ranked SEC teams. They’ve gone 8-1, have three series wins, and have swept both the Gators and the Tigers in doing so.
It’s not just the winning, but the way they are doing it that is impressive about this year’s Diamond Dawgs.
These guys are absolutely raking the ball, and in the evening game on Saturday, Dan Jackson walked it off on a three run no-doubter HR to send the #11 ranked Auburn Tigers home packing.

These Dawgs are hell. Given the strength of opponents in the SEC, they’re going to have to keep giving it like this week in and week out. And any time you can sweep the Barners and Handbags in consecutive weeks is a great reason to smile for a Bulldawg.

That was two great weekends of baseball entertainment. I may hate alot of things about espn but I am thankful for the ability to watch so many Dawg baseball games on espn+. Watched all 6 of the games against fu & awburn and it was the most I’ve enjoyed baseball since I was a student going to afternoon weekday games back in the 80s. This is a fun team to watch, never out of a game, and have a knack for both domination and drama. I highly recommend checking them out if you enjoy baseball. This team has a chance for a special season.
