Almost covered the spread.
Smothered their offfense.
Offense came in chunks, and would’ve liked to see us chunk it downfield more.
It’s just game 1, but Thundering, heard.
Hey, it’s better than what’s happening in Tallahassee, at least.
Go Dawgs.

If we are gonna win a natty, offensive line play has to get MUCH better.
Defense can carry us
Yeah we still don’t know what we have but it’s at least a win…
Really likes how the defensive front looked. Got a bunch of capable running backs. Gunner is going to cause people problems with his ability to run. Never understood the narrative that he’s not as good a runner as Stetson was. That has always seemed weird to me. Great start.
What I saw in Gunner and his legs is less razzle-dazzle than Stet but more seeing a crease and hitting it. Also, his play fakes were David Greene worthy. Might not work against Bama and others, but Marshall was tackling the wrong guy often.
HBTMFD!!
Coming to a meaningless poll near you: tOSU, PSU, Texas, FSU, UGA. If Clemson wins we’ll drop to 6.
Put the crack pipe down. You have had enough. free shoes university? Not gonna happen.
Sarcasm font alert. Pollsters always hate us and drool over the new shiny team.
Gabe harris is a freak….
Good luck dealing with him.
Where is Robinson?
I wanted to see Robinson…wonder what’s going on with him.
Ellis Robinson? He started and played. Heard his number called.
The running back Robinson.
I loved that Gunner threw a screen for a touchdown early in the second half. I could hear the screaming all the way up here in the mountains. It was glorious.
Is Kalen DeBore the second coming of Mike Shula?
My son-in-law is an FSU grad, and he’s there. Good for him.
He is getting a UGA grad degree.
Well it was a glorious day We won and the Crimson Tide got beat by their old nemesis from Auburn. On a side note either we have some WR’s who can’t get separation or Gunner can’t find them once they are 20 yards down field. I know we were not going to go bombs away but at least our receivers are fast after they get the 5 yard toss. It’s going to be an interesting year. GO DAWGS!!!!
Or a third possibility: Marshall dropped 8 into coverage.
Offensive line still looks like a work in progress. Gunner forced to run out of pocket more than I would have liked, although he looked heady when doing so. There were flashes in revamped receiving corps, although I’m not sure who our deep threat guy may be at this point. First impression is that the majority of top end talent on 2025 Dawgs is on the defensive side of the football.
The take I got from today’s game is that Branch can play and our tackling was much better than last year.
Offensive line is definitely a work in progress? Good Lord.😆
I see the fans are in mid season form
Do you want me to believe you or my eyes, sir?
I’ll believe 240 yards rushing
I liked a lot of what I saw but Gunner ‘s accuracy was my first concern. Second was OL play but, I’m sure losing two starters on the same side made that challenging. But, I had forgotten how much I missed Stetson’s legs. Really glad to see that skill set back.
I kept thinking “Long” watching that D; they look like a bunch of avatars. And the talent is just oozing from that D. I doubt we’ll be 21-22 good but, probably the most talented since.
Team looked good today. Only negative was losing our big freshman guard. The replay did not look good and I would guess MCL, but let’s hope not. In other news Arch Manning is not a good QB. Big, slow, inaccurate, and looks kinda clueless. Glad we missed on his recruitment. Would take Gunner over him any day.
We don’t know how severe the the two linemen are, maybe not very. Gunnar’s accuracy is a concern? Some of you people are amazing.😆
Cade Clubhand isn’t as good as advertised by prognosticators. LSU has some grit; refs tried to Clem’s son in the game, but it wasn’t enough.
I didn’t get to watch the LSU-Clem game. I was at a cross country invitational, and one of the families on my team pulls for LSU. I would get updates and explanations from them, so I knew they had a touchdown taken off the board. When I got home and watched highlights, they didn’t show one thing about it. It’s like revisionist history starts immediately so fans won’t cry about the bad refs.
Just like our game in Austin…
Depends on what show you watched. On the original broadcast it was universal that the review got it wrong. On SEC Football Final they showed and shook their heads. When I get a chance I will see what CBS says.
