Oh, and whoever edited these cards was just straight-up trolling the players. Durward? I’m sure he was never called that a day in his life. Same with Buzy Rosenberg’s card. 😀
I do think that he was actually called Durwood. Could be off base again!
Always heard him referred to as Durward. Looking at his stats teammates may have started calling him Durward instead of Tom during the ‘61 season. Of course that’s pure speculation………
Love your cards, but Ted Nugent? I look at posting this music as a stain on the memory of the Senator. Ted Nugent is a terrible musician, and just an asshole of a person.
I looked it up and we were out scored 177–84 in 1961. The defense actually played pretty well except for giving up 32 to Bama and Miami, but the offense stunk.
