Sky! Every bit of 6’8″ tall in person. He had the Addams Family pinball machine at his bar. Didn’t need an ID to get a drink. He had that big Ol’ RV with “Sky” or “Sky’s Place” (can’t remember exactly. We were tailgating at the Quincy Carter LSU game in Baton Rouge when he pulled thru the parking lot, grinning and waving back to everyone.

Sky was a great guy. Whenever you saw him, he always acted like he was greeting a long lost friend when in reality he saw so many people there was no way he actually knew who you were. I appreciated that he did that to make people comfortable.
Yeah. Served me my first (legal) drink there, way back in ’76. Had many a fun time there over the ensuing years.
Sky was a legend. The rumor was that he won the Fifth Quarter in a poker game.
I think I remember Sky pulling beers at Coopers back in the day.
