Coincidentally, I went down a Love Tractor wormhole last night. Marvin’s version is better but their cover is really good.
Their cover of Gap Band’s “Party Train” was fun, too.
Fun fact: my granddad (James Allen) was Frank Sinkwich’s dentist at the time in Athens. Frank broke his jaw that season. Pop went to the local forgery and had them pound out a metal guard to protect his broken jaw then went to a local shoe store and had them encase the metal guard in leather and Pop bolted it to Frank’s leather helmet.
This was the first ‘facemask’ ever invented and used. Pop did it just for the protection of his patient. No patent! Otherwise, I’d be typing this from the yacht…
