Dirty Dan hasn’t been the only Dawg showing out at the Senior Bowl. Etienne has been in good form, as well.

I noticed in the film review of the 2022 Auburn game that the running backs caught a lot of passes from SBIV, and I wondered if we’d moved away from the running backs as a receiving option. Apparently, the injury bug affected this stat this year:

Injuries are a bitch.
There are a LOT of differences in 2022 play calling and 2024 play calling.
There are a lot of differences in talent. FIFY
When musing thru 2022 vs 2024, let’s not skip over 2023 UGA footballs royal, disingenuous fucking over they received from the fuck wad play off committee, all things being equal, 2023 play calling probably wasn’t much different from 22 or 24, 2024’s results just happened to be off center and really sucky….GO DAWGS!!
Not surprised our players are showing out at the senior bowl. Three Dawgs are expected to be first round picks. Probably looking at 12+ Dawgs being drafted overall. Wilson and Beck will be making bank at other schools because they are skilled, talented players.
We need to accept the fact that coaching was the root of problems in 2024. Expect more of the same in ’25, or worse because we’re rebuilding, if we don’t make some changes.
While Kirby has definitely earned our patience & faith in the system, the great seasons of 2021 & 2022 undefeated SEC/National Champ set the bar so high that better seasons than we’ve known in years are now somewhat or somehow disappointing. Those two seasons were so fun and healing that you crave that again. The feeling that we could do better at some coaching positions causes some impatience considering many may feel the Dawgs have historically held on to some coaches too long or for the wrong reasons. I get both sides, but I’m definitely leaning towards hoping that something changes on the O staff.
tlk, don’t let it go to your head, but that was the voice of reason!
