BTA?

Legitimate question here…where’s all this “belt to ass” stuff coming from lately?

Granted, we were doing it after the SECCG, but that game was a legitimate beating. Miami avoided another classic Cristobal collapse and it’s suddenly BTA? Hell, Miami was favored!

Also, I could do without ever seeing Michael Irvin ever again. What an ass.

Dude hopped right in front of the cameraman on the game winning run. Sheesh.

  1. BTA is a TikToc-ism. An unfortunate instance of the high school game influencing up to the college ranks…and weirdo, retired NFL receivers.

  2. Bammers don’t hesitate to sing rammer jammer if they win by 1 and were favored by 30.

They still “just beat the hell outta you!”

  3. I would note that on Skycast I didn’t see Irvin once. Didn’t know he was there.

  4. He always placed himself above his team. He embodies everything bad about the old U.

To Cristobal’s credit he’s trying to form a new identity for his current team. He can’t ignore or hise from a past he’s part of. I’ve watched him trying to get slowly away from that old no class reputation of the U. If you listen he’s trying to sell a physical tuff team first system like his mentor Saban not Jimmy Johnson.

Cristobal to date is a horrible game manager. He’s very lucky to get away with a win. They could have won by three touchdowns. Instead he once again almost turned a sure win into defeat.

    • I keep waiting for Cristobal to have a Cristobal moment in the playoffs. He’s come close a couple times. I think the luck may run out in the next game.

      • Maybe Mario and Lanning can have a brain fart contest.

(Lanning lost some major points with me in that Tech game. Damn…)

Would not shock me to see Oregon win tonight. Everyone has been blowing smoke up Indiana’s skirt since they rolled bama. Not usually a great thing for a football team.

        It’ll be interesting.

Obviously I’d rather be in it, but these two match ups are pretty intriguing and the next one will be as well no matter who wins tonight.

  5. Miami v Oregon and the U wins at home despite some predictable Crystal balls head shaking decisions.
I will give Cristobal credit as Miami is physical. as long as he has more talent to overcome his dumb game mgmt then they will be a cunt-tender(but still pissed with him gifting the nerds a game in the same way I will hate everyone associated with the 2017 Falcons Super bowl debacle).
