I’ve also seen on here where a few of us have mentioned a GTP Reunion at a game this season. Anyone want to start the chat about when and where?

  1. I don’t make it to many games these days. But my daughter has gotten old enough she might want to go to one. Here lately I’d just rather glance at the phone while I’m on the deer stand or watch from section HD if it’s a night game. But I might have to make the drive up if the Refugees were going to get together. Seems like the Senator’s old spot might be a good place. But anywhere would work.

  2. There are some friends of the Senator who are organizing it. At this point, that’s all I know from an email trail after his passing. I’ve reached out to Josh Brooks about potentially a 2nd parking spot in the tracks lot on Thomas/East Campus depending on what game they identify.

    Good reminder for me to reach out to those guys.

    • Keep us posted and I’d love to see the email. I am very interested and wish I would have made it to the Senators shindig before.

  3. Yeah, but according to the talking heads, the only reason we’ve only lost 1 game in Sanford since 2016 is that we just have more talent than everyone we play. A night game (or really 3:30 or after) atmosphere in Sanford takes a back seat to no one … including Tiger Stadium.

  4. Our fans are always awesome, loud and rabid especially for important games. Aren’t they going to sell beer inside the stadium this year? 🙂

  6. I know this is really early, but I’m looking for tickets to the Tech game. I will finally be in the US during the season this year and plan to go to the UMass game (tickets should be easy for that one) & for Tech. The reason I am looking now is because it might affect my flight back to Asia.
