I agree with them when comparing Bama to Miami. Bama is the better team. Miami had two controversial calls save them from two more losses to unranked teams.
The screw job is towards Ole Miss in my opinion. Bama brand for the win! At the end of the day once you have multiple losses you can’t really complain about what happens to your team though. Except for us Georgia fans because we the “one of these things is not like the others” schedule thanks to the SEC. 😉
I’m sure Kirby’s quit pissed off. He’s says it doesn’t matter but it’s quietly eating at him at the disrespect GA has gotten this year (although most is our fault). However, I think, what really pisses him off more is what and how can I get this fcking team to respond with a sense of urgency. Play angry, but under control. Play like they just slapped your momma.
What I’ve noticed most about the defense this year is ALL 11 are not getting to the ball like there hair is on fire. I’ve seen Mykel jogging to the pile and numerous others, that leads to RB’s breaking out of the pile and getting the edges or getting a few extra yards.
This week would consist off pursuit angles and drills to their tongues were hanging out.

I have no doubt Kirby is pissed about everything. I’m sure he has tried everything he can think of to get the team to start fast. No one will say it, but I am wondering if Bloody Tuesday the last couple of weeks has been tamer trying to save bodies for the weekend. That’s the only explanation I can give for the fact we have been outphysicaled the last 2 games and why the tackling in particular has been atrocious.
I noticed our OL just standing around while 3-4 defenders wrapped up our ball carrier. Meanwhile, the tech OL would all rally to the ball carrier and shove the pile for extra yards.
“the size of the fight in the dog” comes to mind. Something has happened to our fighting spirit, IMO. Our brains are trying to translate what we are seeing on the field without the benefit of what we don’t see in the locker room and at practice. Humphrey’s lack of commitment to his teammates might be a forewarning.

The committee also claim they are only judging the losers of the six games this weekend. Again, how is that fair to be judged on one game while others sit at home watching? Ward is their perfect spokesperson. Used to cheating and covering it up.

There are some reasonable Bammers that are calling this BS. A good friend of mine is a big time Bama fan, thanks to his family connections (he went to a small private school in AL). He told me yesterday that Bama has no business in the CFP and he thinks it should be SCAR or Miami.
To be fair, he reason for saying they don’t belong is because they haven’t lived up to The Standard, so at least some of the arrogance remains.
