AGTG, and I’d Like to Thank My Agent

As an encore, I imagine when eyeing the opt out list for Miami’s return to the Cheez Its Bowl in three years, you’ll see Cantwell’s name there.

  1. I wish no ill will to Cantwell, but I’m sure playing in front of a half-empty stadium 25 miles away from campus will be the college experience he’s looking for. Playing for possibly the worst in-game coach in the country will put him on big stages everywhere.

  2. From the outside, it looks like a UGA offer is a big chip to play for increased NIL deals elsewhere

  3. It’s just bidness. Also, I love the post about UGA football.

    • ^^^This. Whatever deal Miami is paying, Drew is getting a 20% cut plus expenses.

But in the end, if the kid is NFL talent he’ll get drafted and only a 50/50 chance he stays at da U anyway.

  4. Kid is getting a lot of shit from scribblers who’ll never see $2.5 million in a 35 year career.

If it was me, no question I’d jump all over that NIL money. Kirby’s agent would say the same thing Cantwell’s agent said if the situation was turned around.

  5. To each his own. As far as recruiting goes, I only want those that want to be Dawgs. When rosenhaus is repping high school kids you know it s an awful situation, biggest asshat in sports.

    • If you don’t want the “G”….then the “u” is for you….GO DAWGS!!
