Can’t say I blame anyone for finding a loophole; however, this adds one more wrinkle for the NCAA to consider before they just wave the white flag and say “fuck it”. One more step to breaking away from the NCAA, and a step closer to the eventual formation of the super conference that will someday govern itself. Just ask Ted Cruz:

There was a rule in the SEC (I believe) not allowing participation in other sports unless the student is on a football scholarship. This was due to Bear Bryant stacking the baseball, track, golf team, etc with 4 stars. It might be null with no scholarship limitations now.
