“I Want to Run It Down Their Throat and Make a Statement”

Alabama recently extended DeBoer through 2033 for seven more years and close to 90 million dollars.

If, at any point, he’s fired without cause, he’s owed 90% guaranteed of his remaining contract.

Let’s get the popcorn ready and see how it plays out.

    • yeah, i just read another article where the subject was kirby’s new “protical” for helping gunner on explosive plays. pathetic.

    • That’s putting it kindly. Bama people I know absolutely hate him. I don’t know what they were thinking with that sort of extension. Exactly who was trying to “steal” DeBoer away from them?

  1. It’s extremely enjoyable to watch the tide turn into a team that squats to piss. Finebaum is going to get better and better as long as bama can’t pay the buy out.

  2. Bama’s last two games were punches in the face. Guess they’ll always have Metchie & Williams for an excuse.

“If we don’t guarantee the $90 mil you’ll do what? Quit?!” should have been the negotiation.

  3. It was an expensive attempt to stop the hot seat talk after every bama loss. Until this stupidity the question was will he get tired of listening to the critics and take another high paying job or get fired. Now it’s just how much money will he walk away with after being fired.

    • After a couple of 11-2/10-3 or even 9-4 seasons plus early exists from the lovely cfp invitational, how long till the bammers start leaving their stadium at half time or even the 3rd quarter…they don’t need no stinkin’ hot seat…GO DAWGS!!

  4. if Bama didn’t pay “dat man hiz moe-nee”, he was gone to Michigan.
But no Bama fan wants this joker as the lead elephant. Even though Saban tried to come to the defense of the contract, he ain’t walking back thru that door bammers.
