Folks, I’ve been to Twilight. Heck, when I was there Saturday a part of me wanted to just pull up to a corner by the theater and spend the day ducking in and out of the Globe and watching crashes at the turn. It was also 3:30 pm when I walked back to my car, and the number of people who already had golden amber in hand and were obstructing my passage freely back to my car was already abundant.
I can’t imagine what it was like around midnight, then.

Understanding, it’s always wise to pay attention to law enforcement and any requests/instruction/direction they may administer, taking an individual to jail for an issue that may or may not need to be pushed, is really lowering the bar for the kind of respect needed between the community and law enforcement…not sure where the bush league is, this cop might be a starter there….GO DAWGS!!

The biggest voting block in ACC is liberal thereby electing the mayor and majority of the council who set policies. They are generally over-educated without enough common sense to get out of a shower of rain.

I have no idea what really happened but could be a young man with $1million in his pocket and a beer in hand didn’t want to be singled out with so many others standing around too but a cop with so many others standing around and needing to keep the sidewalks passable singled one guy out who bowed up to set an example for others. Friendlier policing tactics were in order for sure to not let things get to that point and Mr. Branch may have learned life still ain’t fair even when rich and soon to be richer. I have to believe Kirby has invited APD to talk to the team annually. If not, or if APD has refused, it’s a huge missed opportunity for all sides.
