Missing You: Dawgs Gone

Ah, memories.

Easy question for an easy Sunday discussion…which departing Dawg will you miss the most next season? It’s been nice having a reliable punter and guy who was genuinely enjoyable to follow and seemed like he loved being a Georgia Bulldawg like Brett Thorson.

Freeling, Branch, Delp, and Allen, all will be missed, don’t get me wrong. But who are you genuinely sad to see go that won’t be patrolling the field for Georgia next year?

  1. Dillon Bell, for sure.
    Dillon, you’re playing X today
Dillion, can you fill in at RB?
Dillon, how do you feel about throwing the ball?
Dillon, can you be Kirby’s get back man?
One more year and he would have been playing DB as well.

  2. I echo the sentiment about Dillon Bell. He loves playing football and he loves UGA.

I will miss Zach Branch too. Only a Dawg for a single season but it was a fun season watching him.

  3. I would have loved to have seen one more year of Zachariah in the program. Seems like an all around good guy.

    • I was hoping he would stay for 2026 so he could play another season with his brother. I understand him wanting to get on with his career, though.

  4. Branch…I think a different QB stretches the field and he scores deep early and often. Not knocking Gunner, just not the best skill set to use a deep threat.

  5. It was a privledge to attend that game. Thorson swung his golden leg and hit Smokey square in the jimmies.
