Undefeated in the SEC

What a way to start the conference slate of games for the Hoop Dawgs.

I did not watch…but from what I heard, it was quite the game.

Go Dawgs!

  1. Lucy is smiling as all the UGA basketball fans are running at the football…..

  2. It was an exciting game, too exciting. My inner Munson said after they tied it up, “we had it won, .7 second on the clock, but ole lady luck just won’t work with us.” Thank goodness for Dom’s son.

    • I also didn’t watch. I have to get into “basketball rhythm” to watch it. I get too up and down. Like you, I saw they tied it at the end and figured we just couldn’t have nice things. Glad to see we gutted it out.

  3. That was a stressful game. It was close the whole way, and then we finally had it won until we didn’t, but thankfully closed it out in OT after getting behind a couple of goals. Jeremiah Wilkinson, Cyril, and Cain led the way. Hopefully we beat the turds on Tuesday! It’s a bit of remedy.

  4. Probably my fault for that wild finish in regulation. I had only been checking the score on a quick google search most of the game while running errands all over town. My wife and I sat down for a late lunch at a Mexican joint and I decided to pull it up live on my phone to catch that last 20 seconds or so. Yikes…turned it off and didn’t check again until OT was over and done!

    • Pretty much the same here. You and I should get some NIL money! 😉
Grandson was visiting so I was just checking from time and it looked good. With less than a minute we were up by 3 so I thought it might be safe to watch the end, BFM! Had to turn it off to give them a chance to win.

  5. When they gave up 4 points with .7 I worried that they’d fold in OT. The fact they didn’t is a very good sign. Being good at a sport is one thing. Learning to win is another. Learning to beat a team that has gotten used to winning is yet another big step.
