Something to ponder here, but consider this:
Who’s the most impactful short-timer in Georgia football history? There’s no parameters here, could be a two-transfer or a one-year transfer…but who tops your list? Branch is certainly one, and Chris Smith (correction: Mo Smith) comes to mind, as well.
Who you got?
Damn JP, You get up as early as I do, LOL

Early Dawgs get the Gator!

Olandis Gary when Dinnan came to be the UGA coach from Marshall. Donna should have also brought Randy Moss with him as well.
Grayson Lambert, only because he hung 52 on Steve Spurrier at South Carolina. Made the Old Ball Sack quit the game! 😀
GO DAWGS!!
That was my first thought. Congratulations on getting it right first.
Lambert the dawg who made SOS quit on his team to never coach again.
LMAO
Jamie Newman
If he hadn’t opted out, Bennett’s path to starter would have been altered.
Z for sure. No doubter!
Jarvis Jones
This is the only answer.
Kendrell Bell disagreeds but JJone is a good one.
I’m told that the staff feels good about retaining branch if his draft projection is Rd3 or lower. Because we can pay him more than that
Other than Branch, I would pick Benjamin Watson
Was Watson a short timer? I thought he played 4 years here.
Does Kendrell Bell coming from juco count?
And that punter from Columbia (the school, not the nation).
Not sure if it counts, but Stetson transferred from a JuCo. I’d say he was pretty impactful.
Forgot to add: Thanks for the new water color graphic of Super Gunner. That was an instant classic play!
GO DAWGS!
Was Chris Smith a transfer? I don’t think so, but I’m too lazy to look it up.
Branch has been outstanding. Jarvis Jones was an absolute beast.
Crap, I think it was Mo Smith who transferred from Alabama to Georgia in Kirby’s first season with us.
Okay, Mo Smith makes sense. I was wondering about Chris.
Yeah, Mo was instant impact on the field and in the locker room since he came with Kirby from Bama.
Herschel. We only got him for 3 not the standard 4 years back then.
Medical redshirt not with standing ….Mr. Nicholas Jamall Chubb was a short timer from the UGA football view of not having his on field services week in and week out….GO DAWGS!!
Not many will name him but Tykee Smith was a much bigger deal than he gets credit for being
Smith has turned into a very good pro for Tampa Bay
DB Derion Kendrick from Clemson stands out in mind as an impactful one year wonder for UGA. He came over, started, and we won our first natty in 40 years. I’m not saying he was the reason, but he certainly contributed. I believe he plays for the Rams now but haven’t kept up.
Kendrick was pretty darn good that entire season.
Definitely.
Does Todd Monken count?
Who is the Miamuh transfer who became Fromm’s go to guy in 19? Not a star, but solid.
Javon Wims
Lawrence Cager
Wims wasn’t a transfer….he WAS Fromm’s go-to guy in 2017.
Jarvis « strip sack floriduh beast» Jones
