    • I am sorry but I don’t care how pretty it was. Finally matching Tech’s 8 game winning streak is as satisfying as can be for someone who remembers when Tech led the all time series record.

      • Gunner played his worst game as a Bulldog. Full stop.

If you told me before the game the maggots wouldn’t score a touchdown, I would have told you we would run them out of the Benz.

  1. Ha! We should get the bye, heal up, and gave away nothing of our offensive game plan. Chef’s kiss.

    • Lol. We had no offensive gameplan. I dont think there is any way we stay at 4. They will def drop us post championship week after that field turd.

  2. I was only able to watch in spurts on my phone. I guess I’m counting my blessings. Go Dawgs!!

  3. I find no excitement or happiness in that victory, only relief. WTF was wrong with Gunner Stockton today? He looked rattled and indecisive. DBs? Do they not know how to play the ball? Seems like when we play Kentucky in Lexington or GA Tech in Athens that we get games like this (where we let inferior opposition hang around all game long and have to hang on to win). I’m glad we won, but I also feel like I had to hold my breath for the entire game and am just now getting to exhale.

  4. As the time was winding down I was comforted by the thought they the only 6’s fech had a chance of scoring were their coeds in the front two rows in the end zone.

    To Hell With Tech!

Georgia tech, where the girls are girls and the boys are too.

    Or vice versa.

Let’s make it nine in a row!

  5. I thought it was very interesting on TV how Brent key could say how much he hated Georgia, and whoever that clown was we had to see saying to hell with Georgia that it was allowed on national tv with kids watching! That was so classy you bunch of nerds! I bet all that GT crap is already DEEP in the closets😂😂😂Go Dawgs!

    • Yeah, that bothered me, too.

I love that with the current culture with Smart and the Dawgs, you know you won’t hear that sort of thind from the staff or team…

  6. We need to rest up. I’m concerned that GT lost the game but killed our NC hopes by injuring our whole Oline. I don’t see us beating Bama with a Bobo-less Oline…I can’t even see us beating Ole Miss again.

  7. What Kirby managed to do this year with a limited QB, a banged up O-line, and a less than stellar D-line was damn impressive!

Is it fair to say that after tonight we can all agree that Gunner Stockton is not The Guy?

    • Not even remotely. He had an off game. His O line dissolved. His backup center can’t snap he ball. This was Tech’s Superbowl. They practice tonpaly against us ever so gke week whoever see they have that week. What. He’s the only QB that’s not allowed to occasionally be up and down? He’ll figure it out.

    • I think Gunner is The Guy, but even if he isn’t, that just means that we don’t have The Guy. I was disappointed in him tonight, but was encouraged by the fact that we could slug it out anyway. Our D bowed up. I think Gunner lost confidence by throwing a pick early and just couldn’t find his rhythm after that. Zach made a huge play to get that touchdown. The good news is that because we played today (and not tomorrow) we get an extra day to heal and prepare.

      • It seemed like Gunner was pressing and trying to do too much by himself. He kept the ball a few times instead of dumping it to Frazier. He was definately fired up, might have been the rivalry.

I wonder how things would have turned had the called the safety on the first drive. No safety and the next play tech hits the long pass. WTF.

I wanted us to heal up, Frazier was limping at the end so were Freeling and Thomas. When do we get Chauncy back?

  8. 2 is a FB. He needs to run between the tackles straight ahead. He is not fast enough or have enough balance to run laterally. Gunner was way off. Lot of missed tackles. Still won. Gotta figure out who plays center. 51 snaps high and outside and is a drop off blocking from Bobo.

  9. At least we don’t have to hear about how tough Haynes King is ever again. I mean, he can’t play a 7th year can he? Tech’s TE was a 7 year guy.

  10. There exists one great equalizer that refs can use to help an underdog out..it’s not calling PI both ways..not even closely.
On GT’s last offensive drive…next to last play..the clock showed 7 seconds..they had to throw the ball deep and have time for a last ditch Hail Mary..I told the people I was watching the game with that no matter how long the play took, there would be one second left on the clock after it. Sure enough..one second left.
And I was sure there would be PI called on the hail Mary but thankfully, I was wrong about that.
Even so..it was a poor offensive effort.
I hope Stockton’s indecision was an outlier…we need the Gunner that beat Texas and MsSt.. And he needs Drew Bobo at center.
The meltdown of the passing game made the Dawgs one dimensional and then with Drew out..we were no dimensional.
The WR screen ain’t worth a shit..don’t care what anyone says..it sucks and almost never does anything but put us behind the chains…and getting cute with the fake reverse to start the second half was a mistake when Frazier had been ripping off six to 9 yds. per carry in the first half..good grief.. Did the coaches over think the second half strategy?
The BRIGHT SPOT that we can all hang our hats on is how dominant the young defense has grown to be..and we can only imagine how awesome the defense will be next year.
I hope Drew Bobo is ok and able to go the rest of the year because without him we’re in trouble.
Still, our Dawgs did hang on to beat the Nerds who probably played their best with help from the Zebras while we played our worst on O and still eked out the win. I’m thankful for the W! Think of how miserable we would be had we lost a very winnable game against the nerds.
8 in a row and looking for 9 a year from now!
    Life IS good.
And make no mistake..Georgia was by far the better team..but had a bad game on offense.
By and large the D shut King down.
    I love this Defense.
I BELIEVE the offensive problems were an enigma.
One last thing…Brent Key is an asshat.
As my drill instructor used to say..
    Good night, ladies.

  11. We’re going back to the Benz to defend our SEC championship.

Sean McDonough and Greg McElroy have their heads so far up the Archduke’s ass now.

I would rather go up against a Kiffin-less Ole Miss, but I really would like for us to go beat Alabama’s ass.

Texas A&M has played with fire all year, and it caught up with them tonight in Austin.

    • I’ve changed my mind about Kiffin. I think he’s staying at Ole Miss. I hope Auburn doesn’t pull a Texas and upset Bama. Beating Bama would be sweeter than beating Ole Miss again.

      • Just win, baby. 🙂

I’ve thought all along that he’s staying at Ole Miss. The only reason to go to LSU would be the allure of winning a national championship. I think he thrives better in low pressure situations where he can do it his way. I just can’t see him leaving his team as they go to the playoff, and I don’t see LSU allowing him to make their job a part-time role for the next month.
