Your 11/08 (ND) Game Day Post

Good morning! It’s another college football Saturday. Here is today’s TV listings for those who still have a TV subscription…

I saw where Tulane took out Memphis last night. Some people’s projected college football playoff brackets already got blowed up! Maybe everyone should just sit back and let it play out. Of course, there’s no click$ in that are there?

Bah, get off my lawn, #FTMF and Go Dawgs!

  1. Jon Sumrall (Tulane HC) should be under consideration for a job at one of the SEC schools…I watched him coach at Troy and he had them playing at a very high level…now Tulane…The guy can coach.

  2. Three simple picks today

    TT -13.5 BYU
    WV -6.5 Nasty overrated Juju
    Bama – million LSU

    Enjoy your day boys!

  3. Trying to care about this A&M Mizzou game but it just feels like watching a random Big 12 game.

    • Wise man sez… you get what you pay for. Well, they bought him, warts and all, and it sho don’t sound like they’re happy!
      Tickles the shit outta me.

  4. Was Drink stupid for trying to have Zollers throw for that 1st down instead of going to the half down 7-0. The kid is not ready for prime time at this point.

  5. Speaking of TV subscriptions, can one of you Mods start a thread to discuss TV options?

Here’s what I’m doing, but I’m curious what others are doing:

I put YouTube TV on hold, but will likely cancel at some point and save the $83/month. In the meantime, I subscribed to the Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited bundle for $30/month (the price will increase to $36/month after 12 months). Note that just ESPN Unlimited is normally $30/month. I first tried ESPN Select (formerly ESPN+). I was unable to link my ESPN Select subscription to a TV provider since I’d put my TV provider (YouTube TV) on hold. Without a TV provider linked to my ESPN Select subscription, the Select plan was largely worthless as I could only get the games few people want to watch.
With ESPN Select alone you do NOT get ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network, ACC Network, or ESPN News. You also can’t fast forward or rewind games on ESPN Select and have you limited replays. So my advice is don’t bother with ESPN Select.
