In a world that calls everyone heroes, the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedom and to liberate others are true heroes.

As a military brat their service and ultimate sacrifice is the highest public service. I have a cousin on the Vietnam Memorial. My dad served two tours in Vietnam. He lost friends. This day is a sacred day to remember the fallen.
