I’m sure Kirby could find a nice part-time analyst role for the Pitt Boss if he needed it. Reminded me of an old post I saw years ago before Dooley passed:

And I can think of one more former Georgia coach that we need to entice back to a cozy home in Five Points, if we can find one.

  1. Getting Monken back seems like dreaming too big. But the Pitt Boss comeback seems possible.

    • I’d like to get Boom back on the sidelines. Defense was missing an edge last year.

      And I love that picture of the 4 former coaches. I know we shit on Ray, but he’s a DGD in my book. He beat the Gators on the field and ran up the score on Tech as a coach. Yeah, he wasn’t a good coach but he should have never been put in that situation.

  3. Todd Monken in Baltimore is another thing we can blame on Tom Crean. Apparently, Crean told Harbaugh how much Kirby respected Monken.

    The Pitt Boss will go to his lake house in Arkansas next either with a buyout or a nice retirement.

  5. Looking at that photo of the 4 former head coaches I realized all 4 played QB. I might have known that tie earlier and forgot it.

    And all 4 did it at big programs
