Someone’s Going to Spend Some Time in Timeout

The Falcons finally held what seemed to be a competent NFL Draft…then this happens.

I’m no fan of Sanders, but this was pretty low. And to video yourself doing it…that’s perversely stupid. Dirty Birds, indeed.

Update…

  1. Vector I came here to post that I must be the only one that finds this funny. I’m laughing as I type this. When you act the way the primes act you open yourself up to this sort of thing. Ha and haha.

  2. And they filmed themselves doing it…thus proving my long-held belief that social media is where assholes and idiots go to high-five each other.

  3. Problem is they shouldn’t have had the number in the first place. I’d fire that fucker Ulbrich. And I’m no fan of either Sanders.

  4. Its sorta funny, but ultimately it was the wrong prank, at the wrong time, on the wrong victim. Made young Sanders look almost sympathic for a moment.😉

  5. This is exactly the kind of thing my friends and I would have done when we were 21. And that’s why we’ve acknowledged since we were 25 that we were complete and total assholes.

  6. Normally I would think it was wrong. The primes richly deserved it.

  7. I did something similar when I was in college to Eli manning, after he had lost a game (not to the dawgs). But he was gracious and humble and we actually talked football for a couple minutes before we wished each other well and good luck the rest of the season. I started the call thinking I would prank him, then ended up feeling remorse as I talked to him and heard how genuine he seemed, then ended the call actually liking the guy. I don’t think the same would have happened with shadeur, it would have been a prank call bloodbath. I guess all that is to say, I would have been that same a-hole prank caller 22 years ago.

  8. Over/Under this happens every single draft but is magically bad now that it happened to the World Wide Leader’s current anointed poster person?

  9. This is the perfect situation to use that Dave Chapell meme, “You hate to see it. But more than that, you love to see it.”
