Somewhere in a Disney Sports office is a bracket showing four 20 team conferences with 16 first round byes and 64 playing in. They’re just trying to find sponsors for the regular season to make that a tournament within a tournament model and decide if it’s for football, basketball or both.
Good! Maybe this will run off the casual fans that want Cinderellas to win for no reason and burn the whole tournament/playoff model down.

maybe i have spent to much time in europe but my interest in ncaa (&nba) bball is on par with D.I.Way. I remember the early days of espn televising (and sneaking into our HS coach’s office to watch in amazement) the early games and now the saturation and early exodus of players makes it hard to follow or to g.a.s….except for the Dawgs, who historically suck for reasons unbeknownst to me, which is a travesty based on the amount of talent in the peach state. rant over.
