Here was thinking Billy would’ve flamed out already, but Florida has actually done an admirable job and we’re. Hair away from beating Tennessee, too.
Anyway, point is this:
I’d attribute that to a few teams – Kentucky, Florida, and Tech – having somewhat better records at this point than some had forecast, along with the continued high rankings of Tennessee and Ole Miss to come.
While we don’t have the number one strength of schedule , it sure does seem like we’ve had more tests to start the year than we had in regular season games in two years combined.
Wished we had a third bye week this year, amirite?
I guess this makes up for our soft schedule last season, but I’m still pissed at the SEC office for making us go to Tuscaloosa, Austin and Oxford. Plus, I’m doubly pissed for putting the Texas game the same weekend as F1. Just beyond stupid.
And now I’m even more pissed looking at Texas’ schedule. They have 4 road games (I’m not counting Red River). Michigan game looked good before we found out they sucked. At Aggies and at Ark might be a slight test. At Vandy shouldn’t be, now that the surprise has been sprung.
Meanwhile, we get the meat grinder. What happened to hazing the FNG?
Got two words for ya …#FTMF!!
Thank God we ducked Vandy!
