So what will you be watching, if anything, today? Everyone’s celebrating the “start” of college football, but it feels like it doesn’t really get going til next week. Something also tells me the Tech game is going to be ugly. I think FSU wins but Tech beats the spread. DJ Ugawhatever isn’t going to be the answer for FSU they think he’ll be, but we will see. Considering what FSU looked like without their stars last year against Georgia, I’m having a hard time seeing how they fixed everything with portal transfers and can be just as “good” as the 23 campaign.
No Tek fan here, but would like to see them beat the crap out of the F$U Whiners.

Shoot me dead but I wouldn’t mind seeing the needs beat Florida State today. I know, I know. But it’s not like Tek is going to do anything that matters this year. And from what people who are supposed to know say, Kirby hates Tek more than anybody else. So he will have his team ready when it’s time to play them. The Florida State delusion about last year has just reached insane levels even after the beating they took in the orange bowl. A kiss to the nerds today would bring reality crashing down.

Agree…gnat’s D will give up home runs but keep this closer than the spread if they can show any signs of life on offense. I’m good with an outright win for the nerds. Either way It’s week zero and this goes on the DVR while I’m golfing.

FSU got some nice transfers and their defense is not the same that played against the Dawgs in the bowl game. Tech can run the ball well, so it’s going to be interesting to watch Faulkner try to scheme around that defense. Strength vs strength (GT offense vs FSU defense) and weakness vs weakness (FSU offense vs GT defense).
You can improve your depth out of the portal. You can’t build a roster out of the portal. Norvell and their dumbass fans think you can. They think it’s the this game changer and the ultimate work around. If that were true why is it that Georgia, Alabama, and Ohio State are still on top? And they seem to forget those three teams can use the portal too. Screw them and their delusion and Norvell’s imposter ass.

I’ll have GT vs Clem’s Son on in the background. Hard to get excited on that one. GT is an annoying bug, not the hate of the Handbags, or Bammers. I had some family ties to FSU when Bowden was winning and they have many of the same enemies. However, current FSU isn’t exactly the same.
I don’t see FSU’s QB being the solution, I would not have signed him. Vandagriff should have landed down there and if he did, I’d be more behind FSU.

I played golf this morning and just saw FSU’s drive to tie the game. It looks like the Noles could get 15-20 yards on every pass if they had a QB.

you’re not missing anything ee. For instance, that last play that Tech ran that got him back in the field goal position. They would have been lucky to gain a yard or two against us.
How badly FSU played that screen? Singleton is a good player, but you have to know they aren’t going to go for the big play there.
Buster Faulkner is doing a pretty darn good job there.

Overall it was what you’d expect from those two. Absolutely wretched and incompetent offense, defense that couldn’t seem to tackle in space. FSU should be our first top 10 out of the AP poll!
Hard to tell if GT is better or is FSU that much worse. Neither is very good, so it’s kind of like deciding who is the tallest midget in the circus.
O have to tell hall I got a right smart of satisfaction from watching the nerds dash Florida State’s hopes and break their hearts.
