Afternoon, scamps! Apologies for forgetting this last weekend, but I’m installing another episode where we guess a past Georgia game using some vague descriptions and indicators followed up with an Observations post on Monday. Some of us might have had some memories of this game come up from this week’s post, so there’s hint number one. Here’s the rest of the description:
I hope everyone has their bad weather gear, because the only cold shower we are getting to soothe any Friday night hangovers will be predicted torrential downpours that will only make what I’m assuming will be our fourth loss in a row in the series and our fifth in the season.
I’m not entertaining the idea of a revenge game to make up for last season’s heartbreaker, which prevented us from a trip to the SEC Championship game and possible consideration for a national championship conversation. My only hope is that their loss last week may have exposed some weaknesses in their game planning, and that the weather today may only slow down their fun-n-gun offense; however, we are incredibly pass heavy as well and when all is said and done, they have a stud senior running back and we don’t have a Heisman candidate in our backfield anymore.
These games have usually been fun, but the last few years couple with an already disappointing season means the only thing that should be pouring more than the rain should be your drinks, because I think we are going to need them.
