In addition to the indignity of yet another middling 5-7 performance for yours truly, we witnessed James Franklin, late of Penn State, deciding to go on GameDay less than a week after his termination for losing the wrong games:

Maybe he was in town interviewing for an analyst’s position with CKS.
Now, the results:

Week 9 games post on Monday afternoon. The Dawgs may have an off week, but the Fabris Pool does not rest.
Your humble commish,
Dawglicious
The tiebreaker was Tennessee/Alabama…
I know. Just a way to work a Penn State reference in.
I thought that ESPN & Gameday fawning over James Franklin was sickening. He has left a number of colleges & kids at various schools as he has moved up the ladder to earn about 80 plus million while at Penn State & then leaves with a 50m buyout while losing to good teams & beating no good teams.
They acted like he got screwed.
Give me a break.
My weekly Fabris picks have been dead from the jump, and unlike our beloved Dawgs, it doesn’t rally late. They’ve been more like the Belichick Tar Heels, an unmitigated disaster from the start.
Shout out to Michigan State coach being down 29 points as the game was ending. He decided to kick the field goal to cover the spread of 26.5.
