Morning, all. Just giving everyone an update as we navigate back to normal. We’ve tried resetting site plugins and that didn’t seem to have any change in functionality, and we now have a fellow Refugee reach out to help root around the nether regions of the blog to detect gremlins. We’ve likewise experimented with some options to the mother site using the mirror site, which seems to be a possible next step in solutions.
Thanks again for hanging in there. We’re working on it. In the interim, here’s a Georgia pitcher hitting 100 mph on the mound this past weekend:

Go Dawgs!
I was just talking to a friend about getting tickets to COFH baseball edition at the Cobb Stadium.
Why is that not a balk?
I’m no baseball expert, but I think the difference in the rule is if you’ve started the delivery it allows for all that pausing and movement. There’s a few pitchers in MLB who do similar, notably Carter Capps’ hopping delivery and some dude from the Mets or Dodgers does similarly, I think.
Also I think since his foot doesn’t technically travel towards home, it prevents the balk. High kick towards third then it comes back vertically, doesn’t move towards home, then delivers.
True, that is a very funky wind up, believe there exists no intent to deceive or motion one direction and go another…
Step out, call time.
