    He may be a good professional coordinator, but he was a disaster in Athens. Not all of it can be chalked up to Greyson Lambert. The word on the street is that he also ignored Trevor Lawrence at his Junior Day.

    • Plenty of stories out there that the reason Sunshine went to Clempson was Schitty and further From was looking like he was headed to Bama because of him.

      Jones and the most universally disliked OC in Athens in the past 20 years, likely even longer….. A perfect match.

  4. If I was a cowboys fan I would hope for someone good not bad. With Schitty you get both he’s good at being bad.

    • This says all you need to know about Jerry and his state of mind. These comments in an interview last summer shows his hubris and just how out of touch with reality he is.

      Jerry Jones says he’s irreplaceable as the GM of the Cowboys.
      ……So hell no, there’s nobody that could f–king come in here and do all the contracts … and be a GM any better than I can.

      If you thought hiring Schotty was stupid, give him time and he will see that stupid move and raise you.

  9. Nearly 60 years a Cowboys fan, the last 30 being a total disaster. Can’t believe I’ve hung in that long, but when your alternatives are the Bengals and Falcons…sighhhhh. It’s totally inappropriate to wish Jerry Jones to die, so I won’t wish him dead, but if I could wish Jerry Jones dead I would, but like I said, wishing Jerry Jones dead is wrong. I’m afraid that Landman speech was 100% legit because it’s the only thing to explain his level of football incompetency.

  12. FWIW, I don’t think it matters who Jerry Jones hires. The big problem in Dallas is Jerry Jones. The bigger problem is that Jerry Jones doesn’t know it.
