  1. No problem here. Dawgs played like shit and deserved to take an L. It’s pretty sad that they couldn’t get up for auburn though, sign of the times I guess.

    • Gunner played liked shit with a concussion more like it. 3 turnovers and missed field goal was his fault. Guess he thought we were punting.

  2. Injuries and the weirdness that is Auburn will always be undefeated. Some questionable coaching especially on rushing the FG attempt that was blocked but overall execution was not where it needed to be. Gunner maybe needs a week off. His eggs might’ve been more scrambled than we thought.

  3. Sometimes a little humble pie is good for the soul. Here’s to a healthy second half and an SEC championship.

  4. When the 2 DBs ran into each other and Auburn scored the first TD, I had visions of Auburn miracles past. The second TD was a miracle grab that would have been an INT if Jones had turned around and looked for the ball (old bad habits resurfacing). The bad feeling I had after those 2 scores, I had hoped was just a case of indigestion, but alas, the past repeated itself.

    Shit happens

    Gunner was human

The sun will rise in the moring

    Bama lost

    Texas lost

    My beer still tastes good

  5. You would think an QC would not expose his QB on the first play against an unranked team. Guess there was a crayon left in the box.

  6. The highs are never as high as the lows are low.

gotta give credit where credit is due and let’s move forward.

Dawgs have won a lot of these type games but, today was just one of those days. Go Dawgs and let’s hunker down and get ready for Florida!

  7. aubrun sucks. We’ve been stepping on their dicks so long the karmic bitchez were eventually gonna smile on ’em. Shit happens.

    Go Dawgs!

        • We get everybody’s “Best Shot”.

I’m not too upset either…actually strangely serene.Maybe it’s just age and knowing there’s more important things to spend my emotions on.

I think it may partially be that Bama lost again and so did Texas…and company can be entertaining if it’s miserable Gumps and Shorthorns.

I can see both of them losing more games..and maybe UGA too…The SEC is tough..and it’s not realistic to believe there won’t be hiccups.

  8. Three turnovers, three personal fouls, blocked field goal (I was screaming timeout), and poor tackling will get you beat. Obviously.

  9. We lost today because we played a physical game last week. We got stomped on both lines of scrimmage. We didn’t tackle well and turned the ball over three times. Didn’t win ST but didn’t them either. You do all those teams against a team with nothing to lose, and you get what we got today. Good news is that when we go to 64 teams, we really don’t have to win that often.

    • A lot of it is that losses aren’t all that big of a deal any more. You know in the back of the head that it just doesn’t matter that much. We’re either going to win the games we should and go see if we can be the most healthy and hottest of 12 or we will lose 2 or more of those games and won’t get a chance at it.

    • You must not live in Newnan GA. Now awburns are gonna limb out of the holes they’ve been in for years.

      • I live in a town near you…and yeah..they’ll be out like green bottle flies on a dog turd..which is what the game was. But they can’t hold a candle to the way Techmites show up everywhere when they win.

  10. OOF. So many miscues. Not sure where to start. But many are wondering (as am I) if Gunner was concussed or at least compromised. Missed throws, pics, INTs. That’s normally not his game.

    • I have no clue if Gunner was really banged up or not, but u do know that he threw several really good balls. My guess is that he was not seeing stars all night as many suggest. Auburn did a great job of taking away the short to intermediate throws, as well as the run game, and dared Gunner to beat them deep.

      • This^^^. Frazier was totally ineffective, Peanut got cracked, Bo didn’t know. And without 3 TOs we win.

    • Always the Bobo complaint. A defense that hadls his number maintains his number. It was fun while it lasted.

    • What was he going to adjust to? Auburn was stopping the run and his quarterback was seeing double. What are the magic plays that he refused to use that would have overcome that?

    • My Alabama fan boss was very gracious after last weekend, with predictions that both teams would win out and meet again post season. I pointed out that after a game like that? Both teams were gassed and look out for the next guy.

  11. I think a lot of the apathy over the loss (at least for me) is because today we truly deserved it. It’s been a while since we’ve watched a Georgia team play that level of undisciplined uninspired ball for 3 quarters. They got what they deserved in this one. Now we get to stew on it for 2 weeks and take it out on the Lizards

    • It wasn’t a great game but it was win or ot if we don’t give up the ball.

Gunner gave up the ball. And he had two bad picks earlier .

  12. Had a hiccup, played poorly. Clearly tired and physically and mentally hung over. Look at Bama. Another great QB performance beat us. The only thing that matters is what we do against fu. Sorry, uf. Same thing

  13. U get a 24 yard gain. Then u don’t do shit for 3 plays, do the 100 year old ‘let’s draw them off’ that works what – 3 times a year for all of football? Then call a time out. For no reason. Then still don’t go for it – w a 7 pt lead in plus territory- then net a 25 yard punt into the wind.

I love Kirby, but damn if he ain’t too conservative sometimes. Least favorite drive of the whole game. Including the turnover drives. Let’s be a little more aggressive w the lead and our D. Especially when aubins hot new coach went for it – what – 9 times on 4th down? Anyway, shit game. Hope it’s the exception and not the norm. And wow, is Pug fun to watch when he cuts the ball loose.

  14. I am not going to say it’s okay. I’m also not blaming Gunner. Honestly, I’m more disappointed in the defense. I have to think back to the CMR days to recall being this disappointed in the outcome of a game. It’s not just that we lost; we looked unprepared and we lost at home to an inferior team by any measure. There, I’ve said my peace. Hopefully this gets straightened out.

      • Derek I agree with you Thst it was mostly the turnovers but damn you don’t always have to be right, man. The defense played like trash innthe first half. I agree with you that we still win if we don’t turn the ball over even one of those three times. But the defense taking the first half off didnt help also g with the idiotic undisciplined personal fouls. To me what sucks the worst about this is that it was Auburn and we gave another sucky coach his “signature win.” We hadn’t done that in a while.

  15. With a 24 team playoff, we, can do this several times a year🤦‍♂️

    Ant it’ll all be cool🤷‍♂️

    😔

  16. we still had a chance to win after going dark for 3Q.
everything still in front of us
we were banged up… now if we play like that against turds, then worry meter goes to 11 quickly.

    • Love ya Otis, there is nothing Fucking civil and should never be, about taking an “L” from that Fucking group of asswipes….GO DAWGS!!

  17. Postgame thoughts from a football dummy.

    1. Gunner’s first INT looked like the product of miscommunication. Humphreys wasn’t even looking for the ball; the ball was way under-thrown; Humphreys was doubled. Or Gunner just made a really, really bad decision.
    2. Gunner’s second INT took at least 3 points off the board.
    3. Gunner’s fumble took at least another 3 off the board; that was the backbreaker. Wasn’t quite as bad as Mark Sanchez’s Butt Fumble, but it was…bad.
    4. I hate Auburn.
    • Also: Auburn’s QB carried the ball 26 times. 26. For 115 yards. How do we not adjust our defensive strategy and focus on stopping him from beating us with his legs? Yes, missed tackles hurt us for a second straight week, but that alone doesn’t explain why we seemed surprised by every QB draw. WTF?

    • Kirby said the first int was a case of Gunner never looked the safety off and the safety made a great play coming from the hash. The second was an overthrow where he just missed Barbour.

Kirby seemed more pissed about the undisciplined penalties.

    • Spoken like a former pencil neck (aka rib,wr or qb). The qb ran into the center, not vice versa. And since they were a couple yards down the field, it’s not Bobo‘s fault for getting stuffed either. I loveGunner’s intensity, but this one’s on him, not Drew Bobo.😉

  18. There is no joy in Muddville tonight. The mighty Casey has struck out.

Let’s use these two weeks to get healthy mentally & physically & beat the shit out of the Gayturds

  19. After the back to back nattys I never thought I’d see, the fact college football is in a place of total chaos, the massive amounts of gambling that dominates all pro/college sports, and the playoff……

It is insanely hard to care about ANY game any more. Yeah, its cool when we win. And yeah, it would be cool to stack another title.

    But in general? Ho Hum.

I honestly feel like I care about 1% as much as I did 5-10 years ago, maybe less. It is very strange. 40+ years of caring at an extremely deep level. Now? Meh.

      • Agreed on much of this. 8 was over expansion IMO.

I thought 6 with the top 2 getting a bye week.

In an ideal world, I’d like to see the old conference before it went past 12. Play the old bowl system and then the top 2 play an additional game.

That is obviously a pipe dream.

    • I’m right here with you. After living through Goff and Donnan, my motto was “just one natty before I die” and the fact that I got B2B? Nothing but gravy folks. You could see this loss coming a mile away – it’s a rivalry game (with the other team having a week off) and then college football axiom that any big win is followed by a big letdown – Ole Miss after LSU, Florida after Ole Miss, us in 04 after LSU or 97 after FU and now us again after 26 Bama. I’ll say this though – I’ll take a loss to the Barn for a win against the Bammers.

C’est la vie! Once a Dawg, always a Dawg! How sweet it is!

  20. The game reminds me of the Mizzou game Bobo defenders like to point to under Monken. The team didn’t execute.

The team was making mistakes in all 3 phases of the game. I’m not a Bobo fan but it wasn’t play calling that cost UGA. 1 Less mistake wins the game.

Stockton may have a concussion. Who knows what the prep and focus was going into the game. The team as much as Coaches may try to drill it in is not a machine.

  21. It has been reported that Stockton said Auburn caused the fumble. He didn’t remember it was he that ran into Bobo. Couple that with him not staying out fir the field goal.

    He may have been concussed
