Folks, GTPR wants to support our fellow Dawgs in their endeavors and labors of love. One member of our little group is just such one of those Dawgs. Here is some info on book events for you:
Mark Clegg’s upcoming book, The Crimson and Gold — Football and Integration in Athens, Georgia, will be released on September 1.
Thus far, five book signing/speaking events have been scheduled, and I would like to share these with the group:
- September 10 —Athens – Clarke County Library
- September 18 — Virginia Highland Books (Atlanta)
- October 12 – Read it Again Bookstore (Suwanee)
- November 7 (10- 12 AM) Athens Country Club
- March 19, 2025 – The Literary Guild of St Simons Island (time to be announced)
If you want to attend the event in Virginia Highland, please reserve a spot (it is free).
There will be other events that will take place that have not yet been finalized; if you have any interest in those, please email Mark.
