Testing, Testing…Is This Thing On?

Here’s the test post…fingers crossed. If you can give commenting and liking a try, it’ll be appreciated.

Please know the look and some of the other aesthetics will come next. Time elements might be off as all we’re doing is testing functionality.

  9. Making me save my email and handle but hopefully that ends after the first time. Using safari on my iPhone. Will try Jetpack next. Was able to like a comment with the same glitchiness as before (having to click twice).

    • Commenting on Jetpack is good but can’t like other comments. This is the same as it was before. And I had to do this one again because I got the “Nonce verification” message that deleted this the first time.

  10. Checked a couple of earlier posts that I had saved and got ‘page not found’ and a nice picture of a windswept tree.

  12. Ummmm…. Obviously I can post but still only through the Reader. Trying to post from GTPRefugees was not possible. There wasn’t even an option to comment for me. It works fine going through the Reader, though.

  32. Nothing’s changed on my end. If I try to like a comment the star just disappears and still doesn’t show who has liked a comment.

  34. Yep, I’m able to see the post and like/comment. I didn’t have to re-login. My posting is sparce because of new policies at work that limit social media sites.

  39. Looks to be working fine for me and finally able to comment, this thing will take off now. All of y’alls efforts are greatly appreciated! Thanks for staying with it.

    • iPad and Safari. Had to load credentials and manually refresh for comments to appear. Can not hover and see Likes. If I try to Reply to my own comment I have to login again despite using button slider to save.

      • Testing after clearing Safari cache and some other security settings. No luck. Did not have these issues on the mirror site a few weeks ago.

        • Back to Jetpack. This still does not have the ability to hover likes but avoids sign-in and refresh problems. Weird.

    • Not sure how. When I comment it’s with my WordPress Credentials which I had back when I commented at Get the Picture. Sounds like the email option is similar to cranking an old lawnmower…keep trying and eventually it hums.

    • The post I made prior to this I had the email option, but also had a button to log in to WP. Hit that and it has been fine since.

  53. There are still a couple of hitches regarding the like button, but now I am not having to enter email, etc, to post as long as I am logged in the WP. Feels like you are first and goal at the three yard line!

  58. The only thing is I have to exit the site and come back in to see if I posted. Other than that it’s good to be back on.

  61. Got the option to log in via WordPress, clicked, liked and commented no prob. Thumbs up
