To sum, I feel that officiating crews have had it out for Georgia for a long, long time. I’ve heard various reasons why, from our mishandling of the Jan Kemp situation that resonated with compliance offices throughout the nation, to some association with Dooley’s push for a no celebration rule during his time as an athletic director, which was more of a passing conversation with a fan than anything I could ever fact check in my life. That’s the nature of conspiracies, I suppose.

Either way:

Tyler Simmons was onsides. If that doesn’t get called back I don’t see how 2nd and 26 ever would’ve had a chance to materialize. And I’m still certain Bond didn’t catch the ball. It’s not a guarantee we go on to win the whole darn thing, but one thing is certain, we would have in 2017, and Sony and Nick should’ve been smiling through the ticker tape, not the other way around.
