Or maybe I should’ve called this “Dammit, Bobo”.
Congrats to Monken, I know this was his goal. Whether or not it was with the Browns organization is another story, but here’s hoping he replicates the success in Cleveland that he had in Athens. I know my Browns/Bulldogs fan next door will greatly appreciate this.
Trade for Bowers, Washington and Bennett!
Maybe he can bring Chubb back.
I could see him pushing for Bennett given how bad the Cleveland QB room is, but Stet is indebted to McVay somewhat. Bowers ain’t going anywhere and I think the Browns have a solid TE room. Still, it’d be nice to see the band get back together.
Yep, I blame Bobo.
Congratulations to Monken. Too bad he is with a horrible organization.
Browns? Recruiting? Hum. Browns? Recruiting?
Browns trade Shedeur for Bennett.
#13 starts for Cle 2026!
Normally I’d post: “The National Football League is amazing. Gravy train Lil Stet x2 into failing with L Jackson, King Henry and Tif County Blue Devil Legend Rashad Bateman and getting your boss fired from Baltimore into a Head Coaching job. Kiffin’s Kajun Kast’s falling up resume is impressed;” but I won’t. Congrats, Ted
Coming off ’24 where he had the best O in the nfl and #2 rushing offense last season. Probably as good a fit as Cleveland will get.
He’s gonna need a tough sob at QB. I don’t think Sanders is the guy considering it’s one of the toughest places for a QB to play. Swirling winds off the lake, and cold for 2 months each season. You’re not gonna set completion % records in that climate. Look for a lot of manball.
I would not call the 2024 9th ranked offense the best in the nfl.
Tough SOB at QB? Not in that dude’s coaching DNA. Ted Monken wanted JT Daniels over CB(it’s childish to make fun of someone’s appearance so I won’t call Carson Beck the Pasty Somali anymore) AND Lil Stet , then had to be overruled by a career DC path Head Coach for Lil Stet to start over CB. Jalen Carter ain’t carrying Jayden Daniels through the door in the Mistake by the Lake to bail him out. Monken is the biggest fraud in CFB history or Mick Bobo with a generational defense for once. Other than that – I’m glad to know he’s employed.
It couldn’t have been a picnic dealing with with Nuke LaLoosh aka Lamar Jackson. Monken got off to a pretty good start in Baltimore–I lurked Baltimore sites a time or three and their fans were polarized on Monk the same we are on Bobo (he passes when he should run, or vice versa). He’s an NFL guy and he finally got a HC job, of which only 32 exist. I’m glad for the guy. Fantastic personality.
😢
Never forget.
University of Tennessee’s case of the ‘butt-chugging’ frat brothers https://share.google/TCKzgzDouqdMEgdXZ
BTW, I’m not watching tonight so we can whip the butt chuggers.
Good for him!!! I wish him great success! Bummer of a franchise though. 🙁

Oh well…on to plan C.
(I honestly never thought Monken would or should come back.)
