Must SEC TV

If you say it slowly, you’ll get it. I think.

Anyway, here’s another infographic from Kelley Ford:

The SEC is all over it, followed by the BIG10 and ACC. The Big 12 seems to have become a more eastern version of the PAC10, just less interesting and maybe more like the Mountain West, which is an insult to the Mountain West.

I agree with the first two games, but when there’s no mention of UGA-Tennessee or UGA-Ole Miss, either they’re thinking it’s already going to be a bloodbath or they are underscoring something here that I’m not aware of. Maybe that’s why the Clemson-Georgia game is a nooner. And why the hell is TAMU on here like twelve times?

  1. Did you mean nooner instead of boomer? Trying to understand…🤔

  2. how could you possibly think UGA v Ole Miss or TN games are more elite than marquee pairings like … Louisville v Clemson? TN v NC State? I can think of some reasons why the latter poverty matchups are so important, but I guess fans of mediocre schools need to see “teams that play badly, like us” to make them feel included.

“THIS MATCHUP COULD DETERMINE WHO GETS INVITED TO THE BEEF O’BRADY’S BOWL!” I can hear Doris Burke’s voice, brimming with excitement now. What a time to be alive.

    • I understand the metrics on some of these games such as Oregon vs Ohio State and Oregon Michigan. However, I’ll skip those games depending on other games and life.

Last year LSU Mizzou was a close game with teams who had good seasons but I was more focused on other games mostly due to history. I believe I started with the Red River game and ended that time slot with Wake vs Claampson.

Last year, WVU Pitt I understood had great ratings especially for 2 teams not expected to be in the playoff. I watched it and the reason was tradition. CFB is often about two fan bases who love to dislike each other.

Mizzou vs Oklahoma is the most interesting Mizzou game in years as the 2 have history.

      • For sure, some of those matchups (Oregon/Ohio State, for one) will be intriguing and I will be interested to see it. Or the DVR version. There are teams and traditions beyond the SEC. But Louisville/Clemson is more watchable than The Cocktail Party? I am struggling to understand that one.

If TN and NC State were playing in my front yard, I would close the curtains.

        • Agreed and UGA Ole Miss is more interesting than many games mentioned and even I wasn’t a UGA fan it’d be more interesting than OU / Ole Miss. OU looks to be in a rebuilding year.

    • The other factor in watching games is post season play. Under the BCS, I’d be far more likely to watch the Oregon games mentioned above as only 2 teams played for a national title. For instance 2005 UGA would need help if they won out. 2007 UGA nearly had enough help.

Under a 4 team playoff, we were less at the mercy of the national picture. Bama and UGA both making it.

Under a 12 team playoff, the Big10 games mean much less in terms of UGA making the playoff and as a result I have less interest in the Big10 games.

  3. This graphic just pisses me off that the SEC schedulers couldn’t be bothered with giving Georgia one of those 2 games at home. Texas and Oklahoma should have been forced to run the gauntlet this first year.

    • Not only did they send us to Austin (for the record, I don’t care), but they picked a weekend that a FORMULA 1 race was scheduled (wat in advance of CFB). That will surely tamp down the ability of UGA fans to get there. We just need to roll in and kick their asses.

    • Hate to think whut UGA football 2024 schedule would look like, should the prior “mr. take it in the ass” ad have been involved with scheduling input…

      • “Can we just play them all on the road?”…I can hear him whining in his nasly voice.

    • This little chart is the newest path for clickbait shitty scheduling data searches….#NICETRY!

  4. let me help these fucksticks out…if the game ain’t got no sec teams, then fuck off

    • sec-tv, is any tv with UGA football on it, college football, is any time UGA football is scheduled to play, cfp 2024, is anywhere UGA football wipes the field with the opposition…UGA football IS MUST SEE TV…GO DAWGS!!

  7. Lol, Georgia games are a straight up nightmare for opposing fan bases and unwatchable to the casual fans the world wide leader wants to capture. I guess Alabama fans pop some corn because they own around half of Coach Smart’s loses but other than them? Ohio St might hate watch us, I guess. Just look at some of these trash match-ups. Dawgs would hang haffa hunerd on both of the teams combined! Florida/FSU? Dawgs put a hundy in the two games verses those bums!
