  1. Slow start, but adjusted at halftime, came back out and kicked their ass!!!

    HBTFD

  2. Perfect victory. Put up a nice score, but Kirby still has plenty of things to complain about.

Oh, and Vandy missing the winning FG as time expired is the most Vandy thing ever.

  3. Ugly at first running Robinson over and over. But damn, the second half we figured it out.

What can you say about Frazier. Holy shit.

  4. As a Falcons fan, your comment has made me simultaneously happy and sad.

    • The Red and Black was an Athens thing long before it was an Atlanta thing. One way or the other, I think you’ll have plenty to pull for this year, sir. And here’s hoping the Sunday entertainment is just as good as Saturday’s. Been a Falcons fan since the Bartkowski and Billy White Shoes days. I want the Falcons to be forever relevant.

      • I grew up about mile from Bartkowski. Haven’t heard that name in years.

  5. I predicted we’d win 27-17. I am happy to have underestimated those Dawgs. As long as injuries don’t derail us, this season should be both very successful and a lot of fun.

  6. All this “slow start” shit. We wore them down just like it was planned.

    • There really is no need to watch our first half play. Kirby & staff just out there soaking up information like an AI machine. Second half is a combination of the application of the acquired information and his one word answer before the TCU NC game, “Aggression”.

  7. The defense is freaking good. Hopefully Mykel’s injury wasn’t bad. Brinson seems to just always be hurt.

  8. Do gator fans even know what it’s like to wait in traffic after a game anymore? They keep leaving so early! 🤣🤣🤣

    • A lot of our own fans don’t know what it’s like to wait in traffic. Hundreds leave even if we’re winning and that may be in the thousands.

  9. Nate Frazier is every bit as good as advertised, and I was impressed with Bolden also.

  10. Other than not getting the shut out just about everything else worked out as hoped for. Easy win over ranked rival is a great way to start a season. Kirby’s got plenty of film to show where improvements are needed.

  11. Watching the replay it’s hard to find much to criticize, but as much of a Carson Beck fan as I have been he seemed to have the most trouble throwing short screen passes. Downfield he throws a laser and threads the needle. The other thing isn’t a criticism but the TV folks are saying Frazier was the #2 rated running back last year. Who the heck was #1 ?
