Huddle Up 3/26/2024

Good morning. Since things are still kinda slow this offseason, let’s stray off topic a little. Yesterday FlyingPeakDawg mentioned a Twitter post he wanted to put in the comments but, wasn’t sure how. So, let’s test this out and see if we can get up to speed on how to do that.

When you go to Twitter and find a tweet you’d like to put in the comments, click on the arrow pointing up, at the bottom right of the tweet. Choose the Copy link option. The link is now on your clipboard.

Now, this is where I am unsure what y’all will see in the comment section. But, when I comment, this function is available to me, I am assuming it is available to y’all as well. In the comment, type /twitter and you should see a popup like this:

Click on the Twitter option and then you get this:

Paste the link into the URL box and click Embed. That should do it! Like so…

There are a few other options that may work in the comments as well:

/image

For image, there is an Upload option but, I don’t think that will work for y’all. Please try and see? But, I think Insert from URL will work for you. Get the address of an image online and paste it in. Like so…

/gif

Find your GIF on Giphy or other GIF sites. On Giphy, click the GIF you want to share. When the GIF page opens, click Copy GIF Link and then paste that into the GIF box. Should work like this:

Play around with those and let me know how they work for you.

Go Dawgs!
