Final Mumme Poll – CFP Edition

Alright, gang. One last time to right the wrongs from the CFP final rankings.

For this week, vote only for the 12 teams you believe should be in the CFP playoffs. You don’t have to go to 25, but just the teams you feel are most deserving. Feel free to use computer ratings or ask your pet dog, which might lean more towards how the Committee came up with the final 12 teams.

Thanks for participating in the Mumme Poll this season! Sad to see this go, until after all is said and done, we’ll have one last ranking come January after the CFP final game.

  1. Leaving out the Crying Irish and Tide plus the Go5 leaves me only 10 teams to include. And this is what has been said all along…there just aren’t that many worthy teams each year.

  2. I voted as if it was a 4 team format (sigh) with the top 4 seeds included.

    I did say it would be Georgia and Oregon in the final. I think the Ducks got a sweet draw. I don’t think Indiana can beat them twice.

  3. Got rid of the Group of 5 space fillers and added back ND (so we can kick their ass) and BYU, because why not?

    Oh, and I forgot to select it but I spent less than 5 minutes on this.

  4. I only voted for 3 teams. UGA, IN, TT. I don’t think any others were deserving and I’m not even sure about TT.

  5. Like everyone else, I left out Tulane and JMU.
    I put in Vandy and Texas.
    I have UGA and anOSU in the championship game.
    I wish the Mumme Poll’s extra question would be,
    “Do you think the CFP selections were done well and that the selection committee is competent and consistent?”
    or
    “Do you think the CFP selections were something of a kerfuffle and that the selection committee is a crowded clown car?”
