    • Zero point Zero interest….Blutarsky 24….Start drinking heavily…

  1. I’ll check the score at some point, but I have no plans to watch it. The playoff is too long, and I don’t care about either team.

What’s the storyline? Ryan Day either wins the big one or is left here in Atlanta. Marcus Freeman is the youngest, handsomest, person of various ethnicities to ever coach in the national championship game. I’m pretty sure the ten people who still care about that will be thrilled.

I think the game comes down to whether Ryan Day and Will Howard choke or not. If they do, Notre Dame has a chance. If they don’t, Ohio State wins easily.

  2. No interest at all. Doesn’t matter the sport, I don’t care if my team isn’t in it.

  3. I stopped caring as soon as UGA was eliminated and I’ve barely watched any part of any game since then and really don’t care who wins tonight as I hate both teams. I admit that I don’t hate Marcus Freeman or ND as much as I used to, so I guess I’d rather they win and heat up the hot seat for Ryan Day.

  4. Two prominent programs, interesting story lines, in the home of college football, national attention, concerning to the SEC, yes I’ll be watching and hoping the Dawgs are back in it next season!

  5. I’m about done with college football altogether. We’ll see how I feel come next September, but I’m truly and sincerely about to not care anymore.

  6. I’ll watch it because I’m a goddamned American male. Its a civic duty. You watch the Super Bowl, the back nine on Sunday at Augusta and the natty, period.

You do your duty or you go join ISIS.

    But I won’t like it… unless ND’s gets tcu’d. That I would enjoy greatly.

Tickets are stupid high fwiw. They’ve pretty much reached Super Bowl levels.

  7. I’ll probably have it on for a little bit but won’t watch it real closely and won’t bother to stay up past my normal bed time.

  8. Don’t care. If someone in my house turns it on, I’ll watch with a passing interest. I guarantee I won’t be watching when the confetti comes down regardless. Sort of the same with the Super Bowl.

The Masters I watch because of the setting not because who is playing. The course is the star of the show.

  9. I won’t watch, will probably check the score before I go to bed. I’ll be surprised if ND can keep it within 3 TD’s.

As somebody said above, I’m starting to lose interest in CFB as a whole and I never thought that would happen.

  10. I honestly forgot about it until I saw this post. That’ll be a hard pass from me.

  11. Emphatic No and No. Along with the FU team in gainesville, I pull for both of these teams to lose every game. There is no conceivable scenario in tonights game that I would enjoy watching so I think I will sit next to my wife of 32 years and watch whatever she chooses.

  12. This is my level of interest in tonight’s game: I’m going to dig out my VHS copy of “Leprechaun in the Hood” so I will have something to watch.

  13. I loathe osu and Ryan Day. He may be my least favorite coach at present. My dad hated Notre Dame for reasons unknown and I carry on that tradition. I like Freeman but my patience is wearing thin with the narrative. He’s a good person and a good coach. That should be enough imo.

  14. I’ll watch to pull against Ryan Day and cuss like hell watching Notre Dame knowing we should have beat their ass.

  15. Ohio State looks like us in 2020. Multiple weapons and ways to devastate you. Will I watch? Yes, but if it starts going the way of UGA vs TCU, I will be tuning into something on Prime. I’m not say ND can’t win, but they are going to need some of that freaky ass Irish luck.

  16. I go along with Derek, I can’t not watch it but I’ll go to bed at halftime and as it happens, I believe the game will be over by halftime. Don’t know or care who wins but I think it will be decisive one way or the other.

There’s nothing else on. I go down to Daytona on Wed for the 24hr LeMans race, getting real close to “nothing else matters, gonna smell and feel race cars for a few days”.

  17. Recorded then speed thru it. Herbstreit so difficult to listen to. Thought the luck o’ the Irish was going to kick in at the end but Freeman and Kelly made some bad decisions to get the TD they needed. The FG attempt was dumb. The OSU 3rd down deep pass then reminded me of a certain play as did Howard running down the field looking like Stetson so I immediately deleted in frustration.

I know there are a few “the playoffs were great! Moar games!” types but overall this expanded playoffs was a dud. No instant classic games (though ND tried) and wayyyy too long to complete. Disney, Inc cannot force-feed artificial and manufactured excitement. They’ve gutted the soul of the game. Guarantee you if our Great Senator were still with us, GTP would be ended. This is the death knell he predicted…just not caring anymore.

P.S. Got sucked in to our BBall Dawgs. They look better but losing the last two games I’ve watched is the same disappointment we see every year. Sighhhh…gone skiing.
