Good morning. Happy Memorial Day. Hope everyone enjoys their day off (that get a day off today). Please take a moment to remember why we celebrate the day. Our military heroes that gave everything so we can sit around here and gaze at our navels while trying to pontificate on Georgia football.
And, today, 36 years later, these are still the 4 retired Georgia Bulldog jersey numbers.

Had they not, who else would you say should be on that list? I’d put Pollack’s #47 jersey up there no doubt. Several others are close but he’s a no-brainer.
I think they may have stopped. I don’t know that I would retire anything else. Maybe the #13.
Hang jerseys, don’t retire numbers. It’s still a great honor, and less problematic later.
They announced shortly after #34 was retired that it would be the last, and then about a decade later the Ring of Honor was created.
Bennett seems deserving to me.
